In October of this past year Kathya entered into Esperanza. From that day on her life has changed in many ways. She now has a bed to sleep on, she eats 3 regular meals a day, has had much needed dental care and has accepted Christ as her Savior. She has also gone to school for the 1st time ever in her life. This past week she celebrated her 10th birthday. She received some new items such as a jewelry box that she could paint, an art set and we took her to get her ears pierced. This is something that she has wanted for along time and it was so sweet to see the expression on her face when she saw them for the first time.
